Who We Are
We welcome swimmers ages 5-18 of all experience levels, including beginners. To join, swimmers must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 5 years old by June 1.
- Ages 5-10: Must be able to swim one length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted on both their front and back without stopping.
- Ages 11 and up: Must be able to swim a 50-yard freestyle and backstroke unassisted and without stopping.
From there, our coaches work to help each swimmer grow, improve, and gain confidence in the water.
Our team is a great mix of fun and friendly competition. Practices are a strong workout, but we always make time for games, team relays, and building friendships. All of our coaches grew up swimming for Hunters Ridge themselves and have formed lifelong friendships through the program, something we strive to continue for every swimmer.
We are proud of our strong sense of community. Our families are incredibly supportive and welcoming, and our meets are fun, energetic, and full of team spirit. One of our favorite traditions is Wednesday Team Breakfast, where all ages practice together, then enjoy breakfast and time with teammates!
