In the fall, Matty will be a fifth-year student at The Ohio State University, majoring in Strategic Communications, and will graduate this upcoming December. She swam for 14 years, including 6 years on the Seahorses Swim Team. She was a 4-year varsity swimmer and 3-time captain on the St. Francis DeSales Swim Team. This will be her fourth year coaching the Seahorses. She loves swimming, coaching, and is excited to be back for another season!
Hilary will be a sophomore at The Ohio State University this fall, majoring in nursing. She swam for the Seahorses for 8 years and was a 4-year letter winner at St. Francis DeSales High School, where she also served as a 2-time team captain. Hilary is very excited to be back coaching this summer and cannot wait to see everyone!
Cole is a familiar face to the Seahorses. He is a Gahanna Lincoln graduate and will be a sophomore at Ohio University in the fall. Cole swam for 10 years. He started his swimming career on the Seahorses. This is Cole’s second year coaching, and he can’t wait to watch the team improve and grow!
In the fall Larkin will be starting her first year of college at the University of South Carolina, majoring in Sports Management. She has been swimming for 9 years, starting on the Seahorses in 2017. She was a senior captain and four-year varsity swimmer on the St. Francis DeSales Swim Team. Larkin is looking forward to her first year coaching for the Seahorses!
Makenna will be a sophomore at Ohio University this fall, majoring in Communication Studies. She has been swimming for 7 years, including 3 years with the Seahorses and 7 years on various club teams around Gahanna. Makenna was a 4-year varsity letter winner at Gahanna Lincoln High School, where she was also an OCC Champion her junior and senior years. She qualified for states her sophomore year and proudly served as team captain her senior year. Makenna is excited to begin coaching and looks forward to helping swimmers grow, and build confidence both in and out of the water this season!
